Meet Kibo — a young dreamer whose aspirations reach as high as Mount Kilimanjaro itself! Inspired by author Sharon R. Miller's own incredible climb of Africa's tallest peak, this enchanting story follows Kibo as he tries to balance everything from eggs to the family cat in his quest to reach the top. Children will laugh out loud at his hilarious attempts, then cheer him on as he discovers the true meaning of perseverance and the strength found in family bonds.

Sharon , a passionate author and publisher, is delighted to participate in Career Day at Carlos Coon Elementary School, where she will open the door to the enchanting world of storytelling. With arms full of colorful little books, she will capture the students' attention, sparking their imaginations. As she shares tales of her journey in the literary world, she will encourage young minds to dream beyond the pages and explore the endless possibilities that books offer. Her visit will showcase the magic of reading and writing, inspiring the children to create their own stories and reminding them that every great adventure begins with a single page.

Sharon will read from her latest work, Steady Now, Kibo!
